This little ham’s name is Cricket, and he’s in bad need of some help. His owner explains, “My name is Jackie. I have a precious Corgi boy named Cricket. Two years ago he ruptured two discs in his back and was paralyzed. Cricket had surgery and after a year of therapy and hard work he was pretty much himself again. I could take him to the park and he would play, just not with other dogs. That was in 2010. In March of this year I took him to get his nails trimmed. The tech that normaly did his nails knew to be careful of his back. He always carried him to and from the car. After I got him home I noticed he seemed sore. I checked his nails and they seemed ok. I kept a eye on him through the night. The next morning he was limping. I called the tech that did his nails and asked if he did something different. I found out he had a trainee do his nails. I spoke with the manager and of course they would not admit anything. Needless to say Cricket needs a scan and possible surgery again, depending on what they find.”
Unfortunately, Jackie needs $3,155 to pay for Cricket’s procedure, and she doesn’t have that sort of money. Charity CorgiPals has stepped in, offering this ChipIn to raise money for his medical bills. Please, if you have any money to spare, please give just a little bit to help Jackie pay for his operation. Here’s a video of Cricket trying to walk:

"The opportunity of a lifetime is to pick yourself. Quit waiting to get picked; quit waiting for someone to give you permission; quit waiting for someone to say you are officially qualified and pick yourself. It doesn’t mean you have to be an entrepreneur or a freelancer, but it does mean you stand up and say, “I have something to say. I know how to do something. I’m doing it."
